Lindsey and Justin – Celebration at Liberty Barn Church

I’ve seen alot of venues in the last 4 years. I’ve photographed weddings in cathedrals, gardens, golf courses, beaches, etc….but one of my favorite all time venues is still Liberty Barn Church in Powell. There is just something really unique about the Amish built structure as you can see in the pics. Beyond the structure itself the people that represent the church are absolutely wonderful to work with. Good pick Lindsey and Justin! It didn’t hurt that we had a beautiful day to work with as well. We ended the day at Royal American Links in Galena. It was the first time I had been there and I have to say it was a nice treat. The reception room was set up wonderfully and one of the first things I always look for is where they put the cake. It kills me to see couples spend money on a stunning cake only to have it put in some dark yucky corner. Needless to say Royal American had it front and center on the dance floor which was great for pictures and gave all the guests the ability to see the cutting. Most couples are making the cake cutting something they do right away after their entrance. Anyhow besides all the details….. Lindsey and Justin….you have been incredible to work with. The same goes to your parents as well. I don’t think I will ever again see a set of parents enter the reception venue like Justin’s did May your marriage be blessed! — mike
